     directions are in the description above, its simple. copy contents of update folder to your root game directory, such as C:games:eldenring. then run the batch file to update. let it do its thing until it says finished, even if it looks like its not doing anything, let it run. only quit out after it says complete – press any key to exit. then copy the crack again, game wont work unless you use the new crack provided,

   be sure to save a back up of your save files. the update will erase them, least it did for me.

     In crack folder should be two folders, if one of them give you the trouble try the next one and your save files will be fine, happened to me, change the crack and everything back to be ok again.

   Uh. I know how to follow simple instructions… Which makes it irritating that it seems I’m the only one that just has an error message by the bat instead of a normal extraction. Says it’s missing files… No way to make that work… Im just sad.

   Uh. OK, so. The “root” folder isn’t the one that would really normally be a root folder… It’s the elden ring folder with the game folder in it… At least for the version I have which is the latest DODI one (I know it’s actually just the repack) which has a “game folder, some temp folder from dodi’s install and the dodi uninstall folder. THAT’S the folder you should put the files in. Not the “game” folder, which seemed to me was really the root folder of the actual game with all the files and folders and especially the .exe too. So, my old comment is obsolete… Sorry.

    You ask if you need base game or not, it is reading literally in the fucking notes so wtf if you even dont know how to read how you gonna play elden ring?

    The update messed up my save files somehow, after replacing them the game said unable to load and couldn’t even start a new game no nothing. Had to delete my old saves. I don’t mind starting a new game, just a thing to keep in mind.

    To make this work, put the Update files inside the “ELDEN RING” folder with the “Game, _Redist, AdvGuide, unins000.exe” files. Run the patcher and wait it may take a while depending on your U/RAM.

    i’ve followed the instructions, but theee same error apears, “Error Failed to find all necessary game signatures”, and wheen i play the game, it says it still a 1.02 version

    @gorbachove “I’ve followed the instructions” your game should be 1.06 before using this patch not 1.02

    boys this is my first time trying this and im struggiling i have the files and everything but when i launch the game it says launch failed and gives me 3 pop-up error codes if anyone can give me some advice plz do

    OK, now that the RIGHT folder has been explained above, Witch Patch must we choose ?
    Got 2 folders : 1] Called “PLAZA”, 2] Called “Razor1911”. They both have the same file “steam_api64.dll”, the 1st one at 420 ko, the 2nd one at 720 ko. Wich file to choose ?????

    I have the correct game version (1.06) but whenever I run the bat file it says I’m missing 8 files. So I’m stuck. Can’t update

    same here. I have the 1.06 version, the one i’ve DL here, and it’s missing 8 files… but good luck to have an anwer, they will help you only if you install it in the wrong folder….

    during patching two files failed data2 and data3 is their a fix for that

    For those who couldn’t update the game because they are missing 8 files, copy the “update” content to the same directory where the game is, NOT in the same folder as the exe.

    I already had the files but the installer couldn’t detect them for some reason.

    So check what files are missing, if the files are there follow my instructions.

    Hello, ok so for those who have the Fitgirl repack 1.06, and the error “missing 8 files…” here is how to do exactly : open ELDEN RING main folder (where the uninstall.exe file is) / do not open “Game” folder (inside Elden ring folder) / copy all files from this “Update” folder (1.07) / paste all files into elden ring main folder / Run “update.bat” file (blue window will appear, execute, then it may take some time and look stuck, this is normal) -> press key to exit window then run game and Enjoy (I didnt have to copy and paste the Razor crack file for some reason, it was already updated to 1.07).
